There are people making 600+ RWHP in MR2's with their native 3S-GTE out there... Friggin' monsters, no need for a swap at all. I've seen Miata's with 1JZ and 2JZ setups that would make you weep as well. I'd take either over a MKIII for a track car not matter what power plant it's running. I'm not a fan of Miatas but they are light. I do appreciate the height issue.
