Default Akio Toyoda Wants To Revive The Toyota Supra But

It seems very unlikely at this point. I'd sure like to see another one.

'very unlikely at this point'

Only because we are in a world-wide recession (can't use the 'D' word yet). And the just released Lexus LFA. They don't want any talk of a new Supra to dampen the enthusiasm for the LFA. Maybe after the LFA has had it's run.

I hope, I hope, I hope....

We can only hope. Look at Dodge, it took them 25 years between Challenger generations. Plus there was a 6 year gap between 4th and 5th gen Camaro's. Hopefully it doesnt take 25 years, but maybe another 4 or 5 til we get out of this recession.

Agreed. If BMW can still make an inline-6 TT work, why can't Toyota?

NB: Please consider posting any help requests in a new thread instead of asking me for help privately. About 99.9+% of the time, private help requests end up covering great information that could be very valuable to other forum members. If you have a good reason for needing the help request to be private, I'll consider it. If not, then why not give everyone else the opportunity to pitch in too, and/or learn from the information? Remember, there's no such thing as a dumb question. We're all here to help within this family of Supra owners.

Oh definitely and Toyota can do it better than BMW or anyone else!! MKIV is the legend, nothing will touch it - if and when there is a new model, I hope it will follow closely in it's footsteps. New Supra = very exciting thought indeed
