what do you guys think
|
Why do you need to buy a crank? Just check and see if yours is straight and have it balanced.
Also make sure you do Rods and Pistons. BTW where in AZ? |

i am going to redue everthing inside if its ok than ill take a look on if i should replace it or buy you know |
Yea the cranks are bullit proof, Im building my motor over the next few weeks I will probbably post pictures when Im done. I had my crank polished it looks bitchen.

well this crank was not bullet proof. i had a connecting rod snap in half, but did no damage to the block. it did though put in some deep scratches in the crank. what im going to do is get bottom end machined and get a new crank. as for my connecting rods im going to get oem all new.
|
I got Eagle Forged cranks for less than $500 bucks.
|
I think you look more like WhiteKomodo than WhiteQuasimodo! j/k
Seriously tho, nice start! While you have the engine out, you could get a fidanza flywheel too! |

I have been rock crawling and 4wheeling for 16 years and I have only seen a handfull of incidents where items got in there and only 1 caused any problems. In a street driven car I dont see any real problem with it missing, I would say just search the forums and possibly Ebay.

well that sounds better to me. i was thinking i could do real damage to the flywheel ect. |
I would keep an eye out for one but it wouldnt keep me from driving my car. It would really take something big and solid to get in there and do any real dammage.

when i start going from park, my hole engine shacks and gets close to stall, if i even start with a higher rpm, and put it into gear slow "just so i dont take off to fast" the hole car still shacks.. HELP!! |
Your clutch and light flywheel have everything to do with that. Does it seem much better when the car is stone cold? If so its probably the clutch and flywheel.

Nope thats just the way it goes. Make sure your diff bolts are tight so you dont break your rear subframe
|
arz do you have a sports clutch? if so how do you control this hard take off. it feels like the only way i can take off is just drop it in gear.
|
Mine is in the Z car it weighs 2505 lbs and really does well when its cold I have a sprung hub and got all the stuff from Aaron at Driftmotion. I dont think you can compare because my car weighs more than 1000 pounds less than a MKIII.
|
save the money from a crank and invest in mhg with arp head studs. you can then do a few oil mods to help with that pressure, starting with an aftermarket gauge.
