Hoses or hose fitting is the likely problem. Hope it not the headgasket.

Use the TSRM electrical section to trace the horn circuit. I believe there is a relay. Perhaps that is what you hear click.

You need to start testing the ignition system components per the TSRM. It could be possible too, that the fuel flow is stopping intermittantly, like a fuel pump relay starting to fail.
