Can anyone tell me why the power steering lines go out the fron end, inwards to the middle and then come back into the engine bay??

Thanks a lot, my complete gasket kit will be in tomorrow. I will then put the gaskets that go to the timing belt case so I may put it on. Then Bolt head down.

He would'nt need to re-shim the valves would he?? (only if he were to use the cams off a 7mge on a 7mgte, correct?)
