I agree, to avoid pre-detonation in a turbo motor, the highest octane rated fuel is ideal. the plugs will likely be the best iridium plug with a decent thermal rating i can get.

almost forgot

speaking of valves, another far-out possibility is that one of the exhaust valves is open, if only partially, during detonation.... the possibilities for that condition are various...

ISC should stand for Idle Speed Control. Theres a good chance it IS a vaccuum leak, mainly because you said it runs okay at W.ide O.pen T.hrottle, which in most cars has its own preset fuel mixture....
