Sorry to bother you all with this question, but I just need your best opinon. I got my 89 manual na to idle at 700 and timed it. but every time I start the car and drive it a few miles, it jumps up...

89 na manual. I have a high idle problem. I jumped te1 and e1, timed it, (set at 10btdc) but I know with the idle being high its not timed correctly, can I manually turn down the idle?

89 na manual. my problem is high idle. I jumped te1, and e1, timed it(set just above 10bdc) and it idles at 1000-1100 rpm. Not a huge deal, but I know if its idling high the timing won't be right,...

I'm ashamed to have to post my stupidity yet again. I took the center console covers off to detail the interior and forgot to plug in the hazard switch when I was done... yeah, it all works now.....

I am going to try replacing the relay since they are fairly cheap and see what happens...but I'm not sure which one it is. I looked at the fuse box, and I cant figure out which one is for the turn...

turns out I'm just retarded... while attempting to change the fuel filter, the filter ended up twisting, pinching off the line from the tank to the filter... anyway, I fixed that and now it runs...

so I did some very advanced testing (pulled fuel line off, jumped fuel pump) and, yeah, no fuel whatsoever... but with the jumper wire in, if I go to the filler neck, I can hear the pump working....

I haven't checked for error codes, I'm looking at the tsrm right now to figure out how to check them. and I just might try that pressure test method.

one other test, I pulled the connector off the injector solenoid resistor, and did an impedence test, I got 8 ohms for 10 and 30, but no signal for 20... ( I believe its injectors 3 and 4)

unless my multimeter is faulty, my injectors may be bad. I could'nt get to 3and 4, but 1,2,5,and 6 were all at 6.5 ohms, its supposed to be at 13.8... I could understand if it was just 1 or 2, but...

everything is connected and in its proper place. all the lights come on with the key on, and the engine cranks. I haven't done an impedance test yet, I'll check that out right now. the fp to b+ does...

I made sure number 1 was on compression, got it...

I made sure number 1 was on compression, got it to tdc and dropped the distributor in pointing at number 1
