If it's for the stock alarm then the wires before...

If it's for the stock alarm then the wires before the harness connector will be violet with red stripe and the other white with a black stripe. If not then it's not a stock component. I can tell you...

If it is the sensor for the stock alarm it'll mount to the hood latch assembly... underneath or internally. What are the wire colors leading up to the plug that it clips into?

What color are the wires that the harness is plugged into? I don't recall the alarm's hood sensor being a mechanical switch... but I haven't had any reason to take apart a hood latch in a long time....
