Jeez! I wonder if there was enough clamp-up to stop the head from warping , may be a good idea to check it out on a surface table ( or a plate of supported thick glass as a quick check ) .Also check...

I'm lost ! do you think the previous owner put them there ? cannot think of any reason for them , Question? out of interest ? -why are you overhauling the head ? .

Hi again , I found this on the Mk3 TRSM website for the 7M-GE:

This looks like a shim ? , not sure , only worked on my...

Hi! - Questions : Can you let us know what engine this refers to ? ,How long has this engine been running like this ? what the rings made of ? , and are the rings the same width ? .
