also the car shouldn't be idling at 1500rpm cold, check your ignition timing, also is probly why oil pressure is higher than normal

well on your dads rev meter where it says x1000rpm means revs per minute

it goes from 1 - 8 so 1 x1000 = 1000rpm and 2 x 1000 = 2000rpm etc thru the range :)
