It was a intake valve.... if I switch over the shims would I still have to adjust it also I noticed that the 7m-ge head has a distributor where as my 7m-gte head has coil packs.. can I just switch...

I have a 7m-gte head with a bent valve.... I was wondering if the valves in the 7m-ge were the same? If I just switch over the turbo cams to the 7m-ge head would my 7m-gte perform the same?
