I think it is a MAP based system
Mechanic did check out codes earlier

Further driving the car yesterday ---- symptoms seems like

(a) automatic could be missing a lower gear ..it get up to around 3000rpm then sometimes quite forcibly changes gear and drops back...

Hi

I am wondering if anyone might have any ideas on this problem that has developed with my 87 MA 70 Twin Turbo. One owner.

Had local mechanic look at it who has done good work on this car...
