i bought a new battery for my MKIII cause it wouldnt start with the old one, it would crank but not start the engine. so when i put in the new battery and i tried to start it it did the same thing...

well i had just gotten a 89 MKIII with a few problems. one be that the brake lights don't turn on when brake is applied. i changed the brake failure box (yellow) nothing so i was told its the switch...
