I'm in Cali as well..

What needs to be done in order to jump the wires?(Im a total newbie) the end of these 2 wires look how the end of speaker wire would look, it metal on the inside with a rubber outer cover

I actually see where the button is engaged when the clutch is pressed, but it won't work for me.. I don't know what it is.. I'm looking for a way to bypass the whole thing..
