Full Cage Help?

Gonna be picking up a MK3 soon. I want to put a full cage in. I cant seem to find a good layout of where the points should be welded. Just need to know the locations to tie the whole car together while still able to get in and out of the car with minor difficulty. I do want to be able to keep the dash in place. and have the stock interior intact except for the rear seats. I will be getting racing seats for the front. This car will we be used for some drag racing and autocrossing, but will see alot of street driving. Car will be having more than 1000hp down the road, so I need to make sure the chassis holds up. Or if anyone knows someone close to Detroit, Michigan that can answer all my questions in person that would be great. Thank you.

Are you building a custom cage or ordering a pre fabed one
cuz if your asking where to mount it that's kinda a prity big thing cuz if you roll over you don't want the bars to punch threw the floor if I you I would take it to a shop and have them do it

And you can get a removable or Hinged door bar so it's easy to get in and out

I see

This cage will be custom fabbed due to a small selections of cage kits. I'll be building a cage that's either a 12 or 14 point made with DOM TUBING. Though I'm not too familiar with caging uni-body cars. I've done a full frame car but not a unibody. I'm seeing if there's any points in the rear that need to be addressed aside from the bars that go from the top of the main hoop to the rear shock towers, then a bar that joins the shock towers together, and then an X-brace in between that. Are there any points that need to go to the rear floor?

Thanks

The way you are going with the cage sounds good to me that's the same way my 240sx is set up

and also your not going to weld the tubing right to the floor and ext.
Your going to weld the tub to a plate the the plate to the car right
