Get that thing to the track. I thought I was driving fast sometimes on the street...until I actually started going to tracks. That is where you can REALLY go fast and you'll realize what you've been doing on the street is child's play. The best thing though is tracks are usually a lot safer for you and your car. It will be the funnest thing you've ever done...trust me.

Find a local club that does track days...start here for you...http://www.midohio.com/

I was looking into MidOhio, buts its expensive. I think Nelson's Ledges is cheaper. I have run autocross before and thats really fun.

I run out here in CA at Willow Springs and Fontana California Speedway. Laguna Seca is on the schedule but I have not had a chance at that yet...can't wait. I go through a club, http://www.speedventures.com/ which makes all the arrangements. They are not directly affiliated with these tracks, they just put together the private events so with a group rate the cost is reasonable...between 150 and 400 a day depending on the track. Best money I ever spent.

Look for a similar club in your area.

I know Nelson's Ledges does amateur events in September that are like 50 bucks for a day, so I'm gonna try and do that.

The biggest thing to remember when you’re on track…

If you have NO FEAR…you’re not driving fast enough!

Sounds like it. But don't go for that pucker factor on the street.

Once you get on a proper track you'll understand.
