New Truck

Anyone know what kind of performance (0-60, 1/8, 1/4) to expect from a properly done 2jz or 7mgte swap into this '01 Tacoma TRD?

i would put some meats on there and go off roading if i were you, screw 1/4 times... just what i would do though. as for times... thats a good question, what kind of times could we expect... Whats the weight diferrence between that and MKIV? and i think you'll need more weight on the back wheels for better traction.

Yeah, just may do that.
Haven't bought it yet, but I'm starting to miss my S-10... That thing was sweet.
And I always wanted something like a Syclone, only reliable. I think it weighs somewhere around 2900 lbs. And yeah I found a guy who did a 2jz into a single cab Tacoma, and had serious tire spin problems.

yeah tire spin problems on all trucks with pwr, not enough traction hence why aiming for times not the best idea for trucks, but mucho fun for dirt and hills :D but then again 2900 lbs not to bad and if you can get some superior traction somehow it might get some decent times

What happened to the truck and by the way the truck weighs 3700lbs not 2900 only s-10s and cyclone weigh 2900 to 3100 pounds
