Michiganders Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was on the supraforums and read about people getting their supras stolen in the detroit area. one of which was a car with team dragsta banner on it and a few more. so beware of this and protect your supra i don't want to hear of more supras stolen cuz it is ridiculous. and one guy did get revenge by hitting one of the guys he caught trying to break in the supra with a baseball bat. so just beware!!

SideWinderGX 02-11-2007 07:34 PM

LMFAO, with a bat, thats awesome. link to that thread? i wanna read that.

that sucks tho :-\ i feel bad for everyone thats lost their supra.

if that doesn't work go to supraforums and go to midwest region and click on michigan members it is on the 95 page posted by madsupra88 #2362 post

and i am about 2 1/2 hours north of detroit but i always watch out for my car i have cameras looking at my car from my house connected to my tv so i can always check it.

Supra2NR 02-12-2007 04:40 PM

That camera is a good idea
But I know who does what in my neighborhood
So I made friends with them
So they don't do shit to me

But what year is your supra?
And what rims you got on it?
Cuz ur car looks exactly like mine
Ill try to take a pic so we can compare

justin1642 02-12-2007 05:44 PM

mine is an 89 turbo with targa and i have the 18" flik wasp rims with falken tires from edgeracing.com

Supra2NR 02-12-2007 06:58 PM

I have a 87 turbo targa
Well I still have the sawblade rims but I painted them with the lip
They look pretty good for sumthing cheap

What kind of springs did you use to drop your car?

justin1642 02-12-2007 09:37 PM

i have intrax springs with tokico shocks the 200 dollar ones on ebay.

Pics of the sawblades?

Supra2NR 02-12-2007 10:41 PM

Ill post pics probly, tomorow
Cuz I don't get off work till late and it'll be too dark to take pics

But how much did it lower your car
Cuz I swear with the stock suspension
Wasn't there a 3 inch gap between the wheel and the fender?
I got kyb shocks and springs
Got them for 100 the whole set

And my wheels are almost to the fenders
The shocks and springs are fine , they work properly
But should it be that low

justin1642 02-13-2007 02:08 PM

um i'm not sure it depends on the type of springs and the rate. i know mine is a 1.5 drop. i love the intrax good drop and nice and stiff for excellent handleing. also if you don't have low profile tires then the tires will be higher in the wheel wall.

justin1642 02-14-2007 02:20 PM

also i would like a pic of the sawblades too cuz i was thinking of doing it to my stock rims.

Supra2NR 02-15-2007 02:38 AM

The sawblades susprisingly looks good
But it snowed like crazy here in chicago
So my car is buried
And I'm sick so no going outside for me

But tomorow I will take pics
But here's the thing what do you think is wrong I still got about 3/4 inch gap in the fron but my rear tires are to the fender
I will show it to you guys tomorow

justin1642 02-15-2007 05:14 AM

i don't know cuz i have more room in the front on mine too. so i would assume it is normal cuz the springs are prolly tighter in the front to support the engine. and i know it snowed like crazy here in michigan too it sucks.

Supra2NR 02-16-2007 11:23 PM

Maybe if I take out the spare tire
It'll even the weight out
And the snow sucks
I'm sick and tired of this weather
I'm ready for the summer and the racing season to start

Hopefully my car remains healthy for the rest of the year but I still got the seals and the clutch to replace
