well as a supra owner i under stand that we all like to go just alittle faster then everyone else but after reseving a tikcet for 106 in a 55(i was not racing i was passing three cars) i have come to relize racing and driving fast is for the track only so use so common sence and dont speen on the street it will only cost you time money and frushtration that could have been put in your car

well it was a little passing a little fun but the cars where all about 100 feet apart so i guess it was more like passing 6 or 8 cars but ether way i still got cought and i probly shouldnt have passed any way

at that speed just be glad they didnt hit you with a careless driving or even worse a Wreckless endangerment...that can even be a felony!

ya know in most states anyone can exceed the speed limit if the car which is being passed is "BELOW" the posted speed limit. even if the the car you were passing was under the speed limit, the police officer is going to win this one, as its not reasonable or "normal" for someone to pass another car, or three, at that speed. I'd think 80-85 mph would be the limit on a pass. It's the common sense rule.

you know something realy weird is he told me he didnt have enough to arest me but for one of the cops in my area he was nice about the hole thing

your liscense is suspended right? thats what it is in Illinois. if you exceed the speed limit by 30+ your liscense gets taken away

my first ticket was about a month, not even after i got my license

i was doing 90 on a 30

but there is a loophole, and it gives us (pple with heavy foot)
a little chance to avoid a ticket

if you got caught speeding with a radar gun, 1 question to the cop

ask them when was the last time the radar was calibrated, it has to be calibrated every 2-3 months, and during the last stretches of that period the gun can actually giv false readings

(info from a state sheriff) i got sum connects here too, thats how i get around most of the time

when i got pulled over the gun was about 3 months since the last time
so my speed was reduced to 30 mph over the speed limit instead of 60
if i can remember the increments of speed/violation was

6- 20 mph
21-40
41-60
60+

60+ making it a big offense, and a big moving violation
i ddnt get ticketed for racing with another guy either

so next time u get pulled over try it, it wouldnt hurt you, you were gonna get a ticket anyways

i got the ticke in maine and i go to court tuesday it is going to be about 400 buck and 30 day no license and i have found if your desnt ti the cops they are desint to you

Ok heres the deal i got off with 30 day suspended lisence and 400 dollors in fines. i and exsepting donations to hepl pay the fines.

Man can you believe I got a 300 dollar ticket for just riding my Quad back from the desert, I was on residental streets, trying to keep my loud machine quite so I wouldn't bug the neighboors and a old ass man called the cops on me, then when I came back from the desert the cop snaged me, I was only going 10 miles an hour (at least thats what the ticket said,the speed limit was 25, but I guess I cant ride my quad on the street) , stupid ass California, but I ended up paying $99 doallars and doing 30 hours of community service, man was I pissed.:mad:

Last summer i got lost and by the time i found a road i knew i said screw it i am taking the hot top back. well long story short i had to go down 20 miles of tared road and threw one town to get to where i was headed. After about 5 minutes i just hammerd down and was doing like 60. I was surprized i never got cought. i pasesd one cops house twice to cus i try useing a back road but it didnt work so i just when back to going down the hot top.

Man I was only on about a 1/4 mile of road, not fair!:frown:

Welcome to maine. No one care but the cops shoot first shoot some more call in back up shoot a few more times. Then finlly give up and asserst you cus they cant hit you. Most of them only have rubber bulliet anyway cus no one trust them.

On the road again I just .. Ya i wont finish that.
 

Well I got some good news. I finly got my "privlage to drive" back. I was kinda getting us to being driven around. nothing beats driving the supra.
