Default My 4x4

so this is a little toy of mine

its a 1986 Suzuki Samurai Long Wheel Base.
its a 1.3L inline 4 cylinder. ive blown 2 engines.
and done almost every gasket on this engine.
im doing wheel bearings and suspension right now.
and my drivers seat fell in half so i got a friend to weld up some mounts to put my 87 supra drivers seat in.
also just to piss my friend off i made my camshaft cover and oil pan bright green...
gona weld up my rear diff and then i will never get stuck again.
this thing already goes almost everywhere...

That Samurai is awesome! Never seen the long wheelbase version before. Only the stubby ones.

got a new clutch in on friday, and then sat morning the water pump blew a gasket...

gona fix that 2day...

had a massive bumper, but it got ripped off in some drunken 4x4in...
got a 7ft long piece of 3/8 angle iron gona make a rear bumper, this week, and stiffen the front frame up with the left overs...

on a side note ill get some pics up of my 1.6 liter project. just got to hone the cylinder walls and buy new rings, and a head gasket. and its re-assembly time.

i cut the hardtop up so it looks like a single cab truck. i still need to get a bar welded across the back and sheet metal run down to hold up my glass window at the back.

finally got my fender flares off, front leafs replaced with stiffer ones with new shocks and steering stabilizer.

Pretty cool... I've never seen a long wheel base Suzuki mini-jeep either. I've been kicking around the idea of getting a cheap one for a long time... I really should, at least for winter driving.

the samurai is my favorite because of its durability and solid axles.
but really tracker or sidkick are just as good for winter use. plus trackers and sidekicks come with the better engines, the 1.6 is the best...
