You know we laughed about something similar too in our shop till we dynoed one and saw a hp increase.

a hp increase? the only hp one of these things is ever gonna increase is the Hire Purchase you take out buying a replacement car after you fitted one... Of course in the context of a 2-stroke carb motor or similar they could well help power if for example the carb was underjetted, since the restriction in airflow would help bring the mixture back nearer 15/1. Better just to set the rest of the system up right though really. and maybe
