I found a 1987 Toyota Supra for 2950$ obo its white and from his picture its body looks to be in great condition. It has 125,000 miles on it and it is automatic :( ..... He claims to have replaced the head gasket and ARP Head bolts, as well as water pump, radiator, frontbrakes, steering rack, tires and he writes more parts as well.... I'm wondering if this would be a stretch to buy it at that price considering the amount of work he has (supposedly) put into it.... The seller and i live about 100 miles apart and i really need some opinions...

hmm. its not bad, but its not the greatest price. i drove 65mi for mine, which is a 5spd turbo w/170k+mi. how is the selection where you live??

prolly about 4 or 5 within 100 miles......... Well there are a couple in the same price range ( none others with picture) and as well a 89 w/turbo and 40k miles (supposedly) about 60 miles away for 6k....Anyway i figure i could probably talk 200-500 off because he put up obo....its got a mint body supposedly so....yeah well heres hoping

i think i found my dream car....ditched the one the white one i was gonna get and checked out a silver one with 104k miles for same price....it has targa top and its a 5-spd....didn't advertise that dumb idea.....but for 2700 beautiful condition.....im in love :lol:
