Who much is worth a 2JZ-GTE + Getrag 6spd

Like many of you I'm dreaming about owning a MKIV TT in the near future and one friend of mine who highly tune cars has a stock 2JZ-GTE with the Getrag 6spd manual tranny lying around for sale. He says it needs to be worked on a little bit in order to work properly (both engine and tranny) so I can't expect him to ask too much about it. Anyways if I buy it, then I'll only have to find a decent Supra body (of whatever N/A auto Supra) and do the swap and mods which my friend can do for a decent price.

I have 9 months of school left max maby less and after I'll make some serious money so that's why I'm not too rich until then thus why I want to jump on this opportunity. I'll buy the engine, store it for a couple months and then begin the serious work up to big HP.

So does any of you have an idea of the average market price for a 2JZ-GTE and the Getrag 6spd? With this I could have an idea on how much to expect. Of course I'll substract part of it because of actual so-so condition.
