Most reliable whp on stock internals...
 

Hey fellas! Im new to the supra world, so bare with me plz...I was told many ppl make around 700-800whp "reliably" on stock internals and never have a problem. Is this completly true? Im looking for a turbo set-up that with pump gas I can make around 700whp (assuming thats safe). I also would like to know what kinda supporting mods I'll need for this. I'd like to have a 10sec car, but w/out making it too much of a race car. I have a 6spd tranny btw...Any ?s u have for me or any info u can give would be great! Thanks a bunch!!!

im assuming that you got an mk4 supra (93-98)
since you mentioned a 6spd tranny

but the 2jzgte motor is very strong pple have pushed the stock internals
with all the supporting mods
ie: big turbo, big fuel pump, large injectors, proper tuning and all that good stuff

last time i've check 850 reliable-daily-driven horsepwer, all bolt-on parts and stock internals has been achieved

Show me 1 person who daily drives an 850whp mk4 with stock internals and what kind of gas they run daily on there way to work

you can call sound performance,
sal's supra, a lot of pple know him,
but that car was always on race gas,

he built that car about two years back
and at the last supra meet at sound performance
all those abuse of racing and wear of driving the car so much it took its toll
but it was daily driven for a long time
i've heard he blew the turbo while he was at the dyno at the meet
