clutch type fans, not only in supra's, rob power and do not cool effeciently. they are also loud and take up alot of space in your engine bay making it harder to work on your car. i plan on doing a elec fan swap myself. from what i understand there are many cheap options (dual ecplise/talon fans, ford contour fans). most of my friends drive 240's and they have done an electric conversion. a little more free revving and lower temps. the dsm fans are about $20 and your gonna need wiring and i would reccomend an in-cabin switch which is $10 at autozone. $30 for lower temps, more power and a cleaner engine bay....sign me up!
