Handling

Right now i drive a 69 Ford Mustang (w/ about 350hp). I know ofcourse it has a barbaric suspension and, by personal experience, has loads of under steer. I'm planning on getting an mkIV and was wondering the major difference between a heavy powerful car and an light powerful car.

please dont tell me your calling the supra a light car....oh jesus someone hit him in the head

lol naw i know supras aren't light cars but i was asking is it harder to handle a light car with crazy power vs a heavy car with crazy power

I dont mean to derail the thread but what exactly is the weight differential between an Mkiii and a Mkiv?

mkIII weighs like round 3500 i think and the mkIV weighs 3200, someone correct me if i'm wrong

dont we mk3 weigh a 100 lbs less than the mk4?

and yes it is harder to stable a light car with tons of horsepower
and thats why the supra is heavy, so it still stable even on higher speeds

MK3's weigh over 3600lbs with no one driving it. More like 3700lbs if you still have the spare tire and crap.

i heard that the mk4 suspension does not need to be upgraded with coil overs or anything for autox. what about the mk3 suspension?
