First of all 87-92 turbo supras came stock from the factory with a cam position sensor.
87-92 non-turbo supras came with a distributor. You could switch if you used a non turbo ECU, and wiring harness. Which would be downgrading, which is pointless. A DIS (distributorless igniton system) is much more efficient than a distributor setup. |
