Where do I Start? HELP

Okay sorry... here is some more info.

Firstly, my name is Katie, I don't know much about cars. This is my daily driver and no there isn't anything majorly wrong with it, but its just old and needs work. Leaky roof, really loud exhaust, burns some oil, etc. I have never really wanted to fix it up before, but my boyfriend is into cars and I have gone to a couple of car shows with him and I want to fix it up. My boyfriend and dad both know about cars and they can help me.

well first of all, welcome to the forums
you'll be the second female here then

but if there's nothing wrong with the car
a tune up, all fluids drained and refreshd
and what i mentioned b4 will be the first few steps u need to do
b4 any major mods to make sure the engine will be in the best shape that it can be
