this guy was offering his mr2 to me, but god forbid, if i was in any accident, i like space for the metal to crumple b4 it hits me to me roadsters, convertibles, ei: the miata, and other small cars are like deathtraps cuz i can almost swear that a truck can jus run over them without even noticing lol but back to the seats, racing seats doesnt have to necesarilly look ugly, and jus for purpose none for looks sparco makes a huge line of racing seats the sparco milano seats and really nice, they are not complety bucket seats yet they hug you real nice and they are adjustable, you can recline with em too i think the best would b to jus buy racing seats up-front and then have the back reupholstered so that way you can have function and form at the same time but thats jus my opinion the decision is still urs
