ozsupra 10-03-2004 09:44 AM

and how do i go about doing that??

edgardo 10-04-2004 03:59 AM

do you ahve a stock turbo or another one. Let me know because I need to know also how good are the stock intercoolers, and congratulations on your car. :D Gracias!

suprra_girl 10-04-2004 04:59 AM

hey :) welcome to our friendly little board

i'm using the toyota stock turbo ct26 but with an upgraded to4e wheel in it which is 50.9mm known as the 46trim i believe
the stock intercoolers have been proven to hold 15psi but you NEED to replace the factory intercooler plumbing as it is very restrictive.. i think if you replace it all with 2" plumbing you'll be away ;)
the problem with 7mgte factory intercooler plumbing is on the turbo outlet as it comes to the bend for the intercooler pipe there is a sharp 90 degree bend which shrinks to a terrible inside diameter
the other is the factory plumbing thru the guard also squishes down and on the exit coming to the strut tower it also shrinks then opens up again to the 3000pipe.. which the entry on the 3000 pipe is 2 1/4 inch or something then it expands to 3"

so i would replace all your plumbing with the same size all the way and also get an aftermarket pipe to replace the 3000pipe.. HKS do one or you could just do your own :)

you should now be holding boost happily :)

and thanks for the congrats :D

suprra_girl 10-10-2004 06:17 AM

a/f ratio was beautiful.. 11:7 the whole way ;) and the only fuel computer of sorts i have is a fcd hehe so i dunno why she's so smooth and even
