Burning Oil Smell
 
Hey I have a 1987 Toyota supra and when I go for long drives when I stop and get out it smell do any of you have this prob and how do I fix it ?

Sounds like a shot oil retainer ring (I think that is what it is called) on your piston(s). If this is the case, then you are looking at re-doing the rings...do all of em while you have her cracked open...if you have the money, it would also be a good time to have the head shaved, and put a metal head gasket in with ARP head bolts torqued to 72lbs.

Its under the car so I think its the auto trans by the way cool supra

Oil guage sender unit. Turbo oil feeder either at the block, turbo or the return to the sump. Head gasket. Cam covers. Engine oil cooler or piping. Cam position sensor o-ring. Sump plug loose or stripped. Sump damaged or distorted. Sump gasket. Excessive engine breathing.
