fuel running very rich
 

i own a 87 turbo and im gettn very bad fuel encomy, my fuel is very rich and my car stalls sometimes what should i do?
do you think it has somenthing to do with my fuel pressure regulator ?

there's a lot to consider when youre getting bad mileage out of your car

when was the last time it had a tune up?
change oil?
dirty air filter?
clogged fuel filter? do you let it down the 1/4 tank of gas?
maybe sum of your spark plugs are burnt
what about your 02 sensor
clogged exhaust?
blown head gasket? jus kidding hopefully not.

is it turbo?
does it blow black smoke out the exhaust?
can you smell fuel?
what does it idle like?

no i dont see black smoke but i can smell the gas my buddie driving behind me sayd he also can smell it

you didn't answer the other questions

It has a turboidels a little over 1,000

does it idle on all 6 or does it jump around?
have you done a diagnostic... this will most easily tell us what is wrong with the car

I would definitely look at replacing the O2 sensor. That could make a world of difference if the one you have is totally crapped out.
