Fuses....con-fused!

I was looking under the hood of my car yesterday...and I noticed something. There is a fuse, a 30 amp, that is burned out. It is with the group of fuses that control my AC, ABS, and the 100 amp for my alternator. What I am wondering is what this fuse, that is burned out, does. It has the label CDS on the cover (Fuse box cover, which is under my hood, on the right side of the engine bay, when looking at the engine from the front of the car)

I am kinda wondering what this fuse does...and don't really want to replace it, because if it enables something that is busted....then I could be out a car for a couple weeks while its getting fixed....I need to go to work.

So I want to research what it does, and see if it would be worth it to me to put a new one in.

Please if anyone knows what I am talking about, post it here!

Long time no response

Well I just want to say *bump*

Also could someone with an 87 T please go under your hood, on the right side there is the fuse box...remove the CDS fuse, and tell me if anything changed. I would check the interrior lights (Dash lights, warning lights, that kinda stuff). Then do the jumper thing (T1 - E...or something like that) and tell me if you get what looks to be code eleven...but is really intermittent power.

If someone could trouble shoot this for me, I would be forever greatful

Looking at the TRSM ( non-adobe ver. cos I don't have acrobat so it's kinda illegible ) ... looks like it's part of your ( our ) air con system. Replace with another the same rating and see if it blows as soon as you turn your ignition on or if it blows after you hit your a/c button.

That is, if this hasn't been sorted out already.

Thank You!!!

Well,

I would like to say thank you to you sir. I will try it at home tonight. I hope it is that..because then I will replace it in both cars...maybe my AC will work after all!!!

CDS fuse is the Condenser Fan fuse (30amp)

Probably already sorted out but it is the protection for the small fan(s) behind radiator's right side...
