be careful what you let this other guys insurance do. If they "total" the car that information will show up on Carfax and it will have a "branded - reconstructed" title (at least thats how it works here in Oregon). This WILL effect resale value of the car and since its a low mileage classic you dont want that!
I would try to work out a deal with the insurance company for a settlement that does NOT include "totaling" but still allows you enough to get the car fixed. |
