I have to decide by tomorrow if i should get this 94 twin turbo supra automatic or not..
I like everything about it since it's in perfect condition with only 8k rebuilt engine
but its an automatic!!
what should i do?

to be honest the auto's are fine... they can handle alot of power and it does make driving in traffic alot easier hehe
you could always do a swap later on if really felt the need too ;)

if that is the going price for mk4's over there and it's got a rebuilt engine to go with it... and you love everything bout it... go for it :)

thanks for the advices
I told the guy to hold it for me for few more days.
I asked my parts guys (i work for toyota dealership) how much it would be to buy a 6 speed tranny
and my price was $4480 brand new. they don't have reman. 6 speeds anymore since the tranny was built in Europe.
Even if i do all the labor, it will still cost me around 6000..

anyways, how did you convert it to 5 speed?

who says you need a brand spanking new one... just buy one off your local trader website or trade paper... i'm sure someone has one and for less than that, altho really for brand new that's not bad hehe
