Found a cheap supra, need help.

Hey guys, I've been looking everywere for a supra and I found a 1996 Supra for $6,400. It has a clear title and everything. Nothings wrong with it. Its from New York not to far from me, and the guy said he will ship it with insurance all for $6,399. He said first he would want $3,200, he would then ship it and I have 7 days to test drive it and if I like it I can send him the rest of the money or I send back the car and the money comes back. He told me he has to sell it due to he's getting a divorce with his wife and is moving to AZ or TX I forget. What do you guys think, Scam? or no? Need Help. Thanks!!

Tell him to give you his address and you'll fly out to pick it up. If you get a song and dance, DON'T send him money. If its legit, you get to see the Big Apple and drive home in a nice car. I'd say that's worth the air fare.

Heck, I didn't notice u wuz from jerzey. Tell him you'll DRIVE by to pick it up, no need for shipping. I bet you don't hear from him again.

you don't buy 1996 supras for 6 000

I just checked ebay. The REAL price for MKIV Supras is still over 20k.

I'm just curios Bigsyfair, what did this guy tell you when you said you would drive by to pick up the car? I'm sure it was a scam, maybe you should warn others of this jerk or report him to the cops or something.

He said its already at the shipping place so I just emailed him asking him if I could go to the shippin yard to see it and pay..
