What is the AFM. I know there are some sensor wires hooked into the intake behind the Air Filter, is that what you are talking about? What does AFM stand for and what does it do?

Air Flow Meter, i believe it measures amount of air and ecu figures how much fuel to dump in to cylinder. some one back me up

yea u pretty much got it...it reads teh amount of air that enters the intake manifold in a certain time and tries to create the right mixture
