HELP I JUST BOUGHT A 240sx with a 1jz turbo READ HERE
 

okay i bought a 240sx with a 1jz turbo this pass weekend there is nothig wrong with the car rides smooth shift perfect. i need to know what can i do to it to reach the 400 whp im going to dyno tune this saturday coming up probably but i want to make sure the car has atleast all the needed stuff to reach that goal. thank you.....

Is this your first turbo car?

stock turbos?

Any aftermarket ecm or piggy back?

You won't hit 400 without upgraded turbo or turbos can't rum over 14psi on stock twins due to the ceramic wheels literally blowing apart.. Plus fuel mods. The stock 370cc injectors are good to at absolute max 375hp with aftermarket ecm. On piggy back I'd say 325, You can upgrade those to usdm 2jz 550cc thou.

And the stock clutch is only good till 350 wheel HP. Give or take depending on tune cuz torque decides when ur clutch slips!

And I hope you kno you can't dyno tune a car without an upgraded aftermarket ecm or a piggy. Back system. Which if u use piggy back your capacitors in your ecu need to be changed asap.
