:umno:WTF kind of question is that??? It's personal preference. The Auto's a bit heavy for a N/A but on the turbo models it makes power more consistently throughout the RPM range as there's very little drop in boost as it shifts. In a high power build I REALLY prefer the auto to most manual transmissions. What year and model and why are you asking? Someone tell you it was lame?

96-98 Supra Turbo. I'vr been lookin at a couple in this year range and all of them have been Auto's. Most people say auto's are lame and I didn't wanna get one and people bash me bout it.

If that's your biggest concern then all the people who you should be listening to anyway will be bashing you instead. Buy what you like and screw the naysayers.... How old are you?

I'm 15. I have my permit and I will have my license in the fall. I am just doin some early research. I have spent alot of time around Supra's, STI's, EVO's, ect... How many miles would you say is too much?

I wish I had a mk4 when I was 16

Most 16 year olds (no matter how mature they like to think they are) wouldn't ever see 17 if they bought a MKIV..... half wouldn't live to 17 if the had a decent MKIII.

What 15yo can afford a MKIV anyway? They're not precisely the cheapest used cars.... unless you're looking for a beat up non-turbo without wheels.

I understand completley but I am not an idiot either.

What's your application? For example, for drag racing applications, the automatic version of the Mkiv Supra Turbo is actually a bit quicker, and much more consistent off the line.
