i hope your making the lt1 into a 383 lt4 conversion. otherwise, your wasting ur time and money putting an lt1 in there. a stock lt1 is equivalent to a nonturbo motor with a 75 shot of nitrous.

An lt1 from what car? if its just a tpi or a tbi camaro motor it would be better to just keep the 7m. my friend has an 88 camaro RS and i have an 86 supra n/a and i can/do kick his ass(which kinda sucks cause i really like camaros). GM motors werent really up to par in those years. they havent really been making the power per cube that they should untill now pretty much. But if you wana spend some money on the v8 ,and thats if its a 350, youll no problem making 330hp relaiably and running regular gas. but thats out of a later model tpi without the MAF. But you can get 300hp easy and have a motor thatll last 100k miles and still have 300hp (if you take care of it). thats where you cant go wrong with v8s.

Hi Chris, I have 454 powered 1989 supra, the converion was a little difficult, but we got there in the end, problems with the headers and the sump, the end reult is fast, the 454 is running about 440 hp, I have another supra and I am preparing a 502 chevy for this one, use the supra gearbox mated to a chevy bell housing, this engine when finihed should produce about 750 plus nos hp for more info email: kasjetten@yahoo.com

Basically, this guy comes to this forum for some help and asks for a pic.
The thread gets hijacked and the purpose of it goes astray.
There is already a thead all about where this topic went, so I moved the posts there.

If anyone has a pic of such a conversion, send it to the thread starter.
If you want to discuss your thoughts on engine conversions, go to this thread that IS started for that very purposes (which is where I sent the posts). :)
