security system 87 turbo supra ????
 

i have a 87 turbo spra has a little idiot lite on the dash for security

its not giving me any problems but can someone tell me what exactly this feature does ??? is there supposed to be a key fob with the car or something ???

It's the stock theft deterrent device. It can disable the starter and sound an alarm as well as having a hood-open mode which can also set it off. There are sensors in each door lock mechanism as well as the hatch which are used to arm and disarm the alarm system.
