could anybody tell ne what the warning light (red triangle with ! inside it) would be comming on for when i am breaking breaking, i was thinking it might be a brake pad sensor if they have such a thing or a low fluid level. can anyone help?

i would assume that it is a warning light for low brake fluid... check it out

ive looked at the break and clutch fluit and both levels seem to be in between max and min, its a mark iv, dont know if the lights can have any extra meanings on this model, also the cars been sitting up for a while and i dont know weather this has any bearing on the matter.

hey i just had a blonde thought....
the exclamation mark wouldn't be your handbrake still on would it? usually they're round with an exclamation mark but i spose they could have changed to triangles lol...
just top up your brake fluid to max anyhow... could be surging when you're driving so it's detecting it low maybe

yea break fluid good way to check is to remove connector from top of fluid resorvior if light doesnt come on it is fluid level
