Buying a Supra
 

Ever since I laid eyes on the Supra in the Fast and the Furious I was like "How come I never saw that Car Before". I hate the fact that I'm associating it with the movie and feel like a noob, but even after so long I've always wanted it in the back of my mind. Its rare on the island here.

Anyway, I landed a decent job despite the poor economy. After my finances are more the way I want them, I want to buy my dream car. One thing I never considered was buying one for cheap, then doing an engine swap. I mean, it makes sense right? Who wants 100k miles on a car they paid a pretty penny for plus its old. But...its a SUPRA! So, below is what I'm looking at getting.

93-98 MK4
Twin Turbo Six Speed
Targa Top
Royal Saphire Blue or just Black both would have tan interior

The reason I wanted the TT is because I think thats the only way I can get the six-speed. If I get a Supra at a decent price, then I could manage dropping a new engine in. How about, a new engine and new tranny. Then it would be really solid, right? Really expesive though I bet, lol. As far as mods, I would REALLY not want to do too much MODS aside from the swaps. It just gets more and more expensive after that. I'm thinking about upgrading the Exhaust and throwing in a Cold Air Intake, but that would be it. Hopefully, it would already have turbo. I should see some decent power out of it. I'm a noob so if I said anything stupid please try to overlook it.

I know it hasn't been that long since I posted, but judging by the dates of the other threads these forums don't seem that active. Anyone know anywhere else a Supra enthusiast could go?
