I plan to buy a Supra next year

I've been thinking whether to get an Evo 8, A Subaru WRX Sti or a Toyota Supra, I'd like to try Supras out :) (Owns an Evo 1 GSR)

I plan to buy a Toyota Supra for early 2010, I prefer the 94+ Supras, You get the idea.

The only question is that, the Supras on my budget aren't 2JZ GTE, Thats okay, I can buy a Non-2JZ GTE Supra, Auto/Manual Transmission, It doesnt matter.

Where can I get the 2JZ GTE's for the swap though? I will be doing this swap on my garage with 2 of my buddies, And oh, I'd like a M/T 2JZ GTE :), I live in Midwest USA, Dont have a Supra yet, But will later...

And how's the Insurance for the Supras nowdays? Are they pretty bad?

Ty! :) My first post

Heres the plan:

Buy a MKIV Supra (1993-1998)

My budget for the car itself is around 12-14k, I've found a Supra at 12k

I prefer for the Engine to be 2JZGTE, But if its the N/A Engine (Not sure what it is, 1JZ?), Then I'll go ahead and get me a 2JZGTE complete with Wirings and the ECU itself (With the Engine Mounts), Clean the engine, rip it apart (Overhaul it), Clean the inside and out, Assemble things and install the 2JZGTE

Then the modification starts, If I got budget, I'll put in some Bottom End stuff to the Short Block of the 2JZGTE (Piston/Rods or even a Stroker, Again, depends on my budget), and Perhaps a Better Competition Clutch.

Such and such, argh dang I cant wait till I get me hands on a Supra...

Oh darn...this is so confusing...

Or do this, Use the 2JGE (Thats The Supra N/A right) its already manual, But Turbocharge it? With the NA-T Kit?...Bleh
