I have a little debate going on as to whether or not the 2JZ-GTTE actually exists or if it's simply an incorrect model number for the 2JZ-GTE ...

If it does exist, could you please lay out the differences ...

nope... the engine number 2JZGTTE does not exist

it is only 2JZGTE or 2JZGE :)

it's possible someone got a bit confused, thinking that gte means turbo, so gtte means twin turbo. but yeah, as far as i know, and i'm looking at a info sheet right now, it doesn't exist

listen to the suprra_girl...there is no 2jzgtte....haha i heard it a couple times...people put that tt in there to say that its twin turbo...but thats not the real code from teh factory

Yea, Nissan is the only company that i have seen use tt like the rb26dett.
