Passenger Power Window Problems

My passenger side power window is a bit finicky. I can put it down on the drivers side control panel, but not up. I can put it up on the passenger side control, but not down. Window lock is OFF.

I pulled out each fuse and checked it visually last night in all 3 locations (driver kick, passenger kick, under hood) last night and found no bad fuses. I still need to get a volt meter and check some stuff with that. I was just wondering if anyone knew off the top of their head what this might be. I have read through the shop manual and nothing jumped out at me.

I have an 87 Supra (Mk3) Non turbo

The switches are bad. Think about what you wrote. Switches. And know this, you must have the passenger switch plugged in to the harness for all the switches to work. Toyota did a wierd wiring job with the windows, but power goes thru the passenger side switch that feeds the drivers side too.

You may be able to take out the switches and use some "electrical contact' cleaner spray to clean the contacts inside them. I've had success doing this on other cars.
