hey there im new here but any ways i have a 88 7mgte, when i go it she barley ran put new plugs and wires ran good, couple weeks later did a bov and air filter swap, and then started running bad again i changed the plugs and when i ran it she chirped in to 2nd :lol: this is a auto by the way,and that was the first time chirping the tires at all i turned around and went home and started running crapy, i un shimmed the bov to no shimms and put in a 180 degree thermo, and checked for vacumme leaks, found a couple leaks fixed them and now it stutters when i get into boost, and i can barley hear the bov :angry: . any help would be nice thanks :)

This might sound stupid, but lets start with basics, what kind of plugs did you get, and what did you set the gap to.

bosch paltium and they were supposed to be allready gaped, some one told me to get iraniums and someone told meto get colder plugs

pre gapped or not they should always be checked one out of six will be off

Ok get rid of your bosch platinums, they suck, i didn't listen to everyone on here when they told me the same thing. I have had nothing but problems with them, and they aren't gapped properly for either application, turbo .031 or non turbo .043.

so what kinda plugs would you recomend i havent done much to the car just a 2 1/2 to 3inch exhaust,deleted one cat , air intake addapter and a blow off valve. and im thinking of getting a manual or eletric boost controller also. are there other easy add ons to get that supra moving a little faster?

get either nippondenso or ngk , make sure there atleast platinum, you want to go to iradium thats cool too.
