Engine Speed Sensor
 

Hi,
I have a MKiv 1994 import and the engine management light comes on. I have had it diognosed and it is an engine speed sensor.Are there 2 speed sensors for this car? if so how could i determine which one it was that had gone? where they are mounted? and where i could buy one to replace it?

I believe one is in the tranny and the other is in the dashboard. When doing diagnostics it should tell you which speed sensor is at fault. Unfortunately i do not have any further info but i'm sure other mk4 owners will :)
