eh...you need to find out exactly what went wrong in the first place. if its a blown motor, pull it out and do a front clip off of another one. usually they come with the turbo assembly and all the proper hardware neccesarry. if they just bought an exhaust manifold for a non-turbo in its place, your asking for problems.

I can agree with him on wanting to do something different, myself i want to stay all motor to. So i understand where he is coming from. I think he can do it, just will take some time and effort.

i know what its like to want to be different too, but it just doesnt come out cost effective. i would just hate to hear of another unfinished project.

i got a chance to check out what is there and isn't.........they did do a swap, from turbo to non turbo, the engine is the same, but there is no turbo, i think i will buy a complete engine. the car is in alot better shape than my non turbo, so i will fix the turbo and use as a daily driver and slowly do what i want with the non turbo.
