Ok , i have a question for all who could possibly help............
I have a 87 supra non turbo, i have put 2 7mge engines in since i have had the car, i have been checking out prices on engines. i can get a 2jzge from a 93-95 model for the same price as a 7mge. Is there a difference in the wiring from the 2 engines? do i have to do much mods to put it in? can anyone tell me is the engine worth worrying about the conversion? any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

well the 7mge comes 200 base horse power, and the 2jz-ge comes 220 base horse power. I believe you will have to modify your trans mount. 2jz-ge engine wiring harness and ecu, and I think there are few other things you have to mess around with as far as wiring goes.

Swapping a 2JZ into a MKIII is no easy task. Not only will u need the motor trans ECU and harness but u will also need to have custom mounts made for the trans and the motor. U will need to have a cuntom drive shaft made and the hood will not close with a 2JZ so u will need to find solution for that. At the end for the day a 1JZ will be your best bet for a swap. No custom parts needed for 89-92 MKIII
